TRANSPORT
Host Governments in Japan and China will provide transport, supplemented as necessary by the British Embassy from their own resources or through hiring, for both the main party and the press party.
The allocation of cars on arrival at each destination will be telegraphed in advance.
Details of transport arrangements in each capital will appear in the Local Administrative Arrangements.
Adequate vehicles will be provided for baggage and other hold loaded items on the VC 10.

(a) Portable typewriters will be taken by the No 10 Secretarial
Assistants to work on the VC 10.

Electric and manual typewriters will be provided in the No 10 Offices in all capitals. No classified material should be typed on electric typewriters in the guest houses in Japan and China.
Posts will arrange for photocopiers to be provided in the No 10 Offices.

Arrangements have been made for sets of the UK newspapers to be flown out to the party during the course of the tour. These will arrive daily, the day after publication in the UK, with the exception of the issues of 21 and 22 September which, because of
