Thank you for your letter of 6 October about Mr. Rossi's proposed visit to Hong Kong in November. The Prime Minister has agreed to Mr. Rossi's proposals, subject to Parliamentary and Government business, and that Mrs. Rossi should accompany him at public expense.
I am sending a copy of this letter to Chris Greenwood (Foreign and Commonwealth Office), William Austen (Chief Whip's Office) and Lindsay Wilkinson (Cabinet Office).
