As agreed by telephone, I am sending you a copy of the invitation to Mr Channon from the Urban Council of Hong Kong, and of a covering minute from Mr Macrae.
2. I should be grateful for your views on the desirability of Mr Channon's accepting the invitation, and for any knowledge you may have about the Festival from past years. I have also asked the British Council for any back- ground information they may have.
