funds from Brussels, Britain is extremely successful in the consulting
side. It is extraordinarily unsuccessful in comparison on the
contracting side and these things, as you will know, sir and gentleman,
are controlled on a quota basis. On the consultancy side, contracts
awarded to British consultants are always at or over the quota, so in that
terminology Britain in that way is extremely successful. I think it is
fair to say that certainly our experience of South-east Asia is that
British consulting firms are as successful in ASEAN with EEC funds as
they are in the rest of the world.
