COMMONWEALTH PARLIAMENTARY ASSOCIATION (CPA): ANNUAL CONFERENCE
1. It may be useful to you to have the following information about the Annual Conference of the CPA which is being held this year in the Bahamas from 16-24 October. A pre-conference tour of the Bahamas, which many of the delegates will attend, is from 12-15 October.
2. Mr Neil Marten, Minister for Overseas Development, will lead the UK delegation. He will be accompanied by his wife and his Assistant Private Secretary, Miss Gaynor Lyons. Mr Cranley Onslow, Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, with a special interest in Commonwealth affairs, will also attend for the first 2/3 days of the meeting.
Mr A K Goldsmith, Head of Commonwealth Coordination Department, will attend throughout.
