COMMONWEALTH PARLIAMENTARY ASSOCIATION: 32ND SEMINAR, 8 - 26 MARCH 1983
I am sorry to have to tell you that it has not been possible to secure a definite place for Hong Kong at the 1983 seminar. We put Hong Kong's case as strongly as we could, but because in recent years Hong Kong have attended regularly the organisers felt unable to give you high priority But you are third on the reserve list, so there remains a good chance that you will in the event be able to attend. You may recall that your attendance last year came about in this way.
We will keep our fingers crossed, and will keep
you informed of any developments.
