acurately say how much interest the Conference will

hold for you. In any event I think it is right to say

that it will be only of limited interest to you, a point

which was made in FCO telno 393 to Bangkok.

While we hope someone from Hong Kong can attend,

the answer to your question on the importance of your

attendance is that the Conference organisers attach

only as much importance to this as you yourself do.

This will obviously depend on the meeting's final agenda,

which is still under consideration here. We hope that

it will be settled by 29 November at the latest.
