IMPORT AND EXPORT ORDINANCE

IMPORT PROHIBITION (ARGENTINA) (NO. 2)
REGULATIONS 1982
Made by the Governor in Council under section 31
Citation.
1.
These regulations may be cited as the Import 'Prohibition (Argentina) (No. 2) Regulations 1982.
(1) No person shall import directly or indirectly

any article from any other country if the

in Argentina,
except under and in accordance with a licence issued under
section 3 of the Ordinance.
(2) Any person who contravenes paragraph (1) commi ts an offence and is liable to a fine of $500,000 and to imprisonment for 2 years.
Prohibition on issue of licences.
3. A licence to import any article from Argentina or in the case of an article referred to in regulation 2(1)(b) from any other country, shall not be issued except in respect of -
