CREW AGRCEMENT & LIST OF CREW FOR HONG KONG SEA EN EMPLOYED IN A SHIP REGISTERED IN THE UNITED KINGDOM UNDER AGREED CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
The form and provisions of this agreement are approved by the Department of trade and Industry under section 1 (3) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1970.
If the form and provisions of this agreement are amended or clauses are, added without the prior approval of the Department it will not be regraded as approved under the said section of the Act.
CONTRACTUAL CLAUSES
1. For the purposes of this agreement the Employer shall be :

2. It is hereby agreed between the employer and each seaman whose name and description is contained in the crew list annexed here to that the seaman shall serve on the said vessel of which
is at present Master, or whoever shall become Master during the period of the seaman's engagement for a period not exceeding 18 calender months, or
on first return to Hong Kong within that period carrying passengers and cargo of all kinds (including petroleum products, troops, ammunition implements of war).
The service of the seamen shall be in World Wide trading including all ports between the limits of latitudes 75° and 60°S.
3. If the vessel is not at Hon Kong on expiry of the engagement period, the seaman shall continue his service on board until the vessel's arrival at the first port where repatriation is practicable but not exceeding THREE months
4. In this agreement
(1) The Master is performing this agreement represents the employer. (ii)The Master includes any Officer (other than a pilot) for the time
being in charge of the ship and any Officer acting for the Master. within his authority in a particular matter.
5. The persons whose names are or the person whose name is contained in
the crew list incorporated hereto, agree(s) :
(A) (1) To conduct themselves himself in an orderly, faithful,
honest and sober manne in' their/his respectiv commands of the Master, succeed him, and of th
and at all times to be diligent duties, and obedient to the lawful or of any person who shall lawfully ship's Officers and Petty Officers in everything relating to the said ship, its stores and cargo, whether on board, in bts or on shore.
(ii) To take all steps with their power to preserve in good condition
the equipment of the ship and all property on board.
In consideration of this service being duly performed, the employer agrees to pay each secman as rages the sum shown against his name in the crew list annexed Lereto.
