Next Quarter Targets
To provide a bridge. at Lei Yue Mun
To replace Kai Tak with a new international airport at Chek Lap Kok
Consultants have been commissioned for
the following:
(i)
mathematical model test to see if the bridge may cause pollution to the harbour waters,
(ii) hydraulic model test to study the
effects of the bridge on tidal currents, and
(iii)
instrument landing study to find out whether the bridge will have any effects on the instrument landing system at Kai Tak
Civil engineering study by consultants is nearing completion.
Draft reports are under study.

Consultants to finalise report
Consultants to continue with study with a view to submitting the findings in the next quarter
Consultants to submit final report
