Trade and Industry Branch Progress Report
The Trade and Industry Branch Progress Report for the quarter 1 August to 31 October 1982 is attached. Two copies of the Report are forwarded to the Director, Councils and Administration Branch with one copy for despatch to the FCO.

This submission updates the items on trade and industry related subjects which were previously included in the Economic Services Branch progress report because the new Trade and Industry Branch has taken over policy responsibilities in these areas with effect from 1 August 1982.
