To monitor construction of The Project Co-ordinating Committee the Prince of Wales

Hospital which will

provide clinical training for the Second Medical School at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).

To monitor the development of the Hospital project.

(a) To increase the

clinical staff at QMH, to review the long term staff requirements and examine whether the integrated system proposed for the

adopted for use at QMH.

(b) To expand and improve the facilities at QMH.

has continued to moniter closely the revised building programme which aims at completing the project by September 1982. The Medical and Health Department and CUHK have drawn up a precautionary list of commissioning priorities in the event of construction not being fully completed for handover by 1 October 1982.

The consultant architects have almost completed the detailed planning work. Schedules of accommodation and plans are being finalised and project estimates revised for submission to Public Works Sub-Committee. The Project Co-ordinating Committee has continued to monitor progress.
