Consultants submitted their interim report on the NENT development study, which was circulated to branches and departments for comments.

Consultants continued with the Junk Bay development study following LDPC's endorsement of their Interim
Report. Consultations continued with the Mass Transit Railway Cor- poration over the feasibility of the MTR providing the principal external access to the new town.

Proceed with action agreed by LDPC and monitor progress of remainder of Junk Bay study (completion mid- 1982).
