16. King's Road
Public Transport Priority Scheme
To prepare short term measures to improve the transport situation in the Eastern Island Corridor and to ensure their smooth implementation.
Traffic management measures have been examined by consultants and new proposals have been developed. A submission to ExCo seeking exemption from the ban on mechnical noise at night has been drawn up in order to allow night work on relocating the tram tracks in King's Road as part of the scheme.
Implement improvements. Obtain ExCo approval
for exemption from the ban on mechanical work at night for tram track relocation.
