To introduce a new Order relat- ing to the control of
and endorsed by LDPC on 23.3.82. Revised chapter was circulated to departments for implementation.
(b)standards of provision for Social
Welfare facilities : A draft Devised HKOP Chapter 3 was prepared for the Planning Standards Sub- committec.
(c)Standards of provision for commercial and retail facilities: Town Planning Division requested to prepare a position paper on standards for retail facilities.
A reply to the Heung Yce Kuk's comments on the draft bill has been issued. Further consultation has taken place with departments concerned with a view to finalizing the draft Bill.
A revised draft Order is circulating, plans arc being printed and schedules checked. The compensation issue has been resolved.
(b) Welfare Facilities:
Planning Standards Sub-Committee to consider revised standards on 17.5.8 HAB to consult ExCo over policy on pro- vision of community centres.
(c) Commertal and
retail facilities : To work out interim standards for pro- vision of retail facilities for co}-- sideration of the Manning Standards Sub-Committee.
To finalize the draft Bill.
Submit the memorandum
and draft order to ExCo.
