Purpose
To improve the sanitary facilities in Mark I/II blocks which are not included in the current
redevelopment
programme.
Progress Made & Present Position
The "tap and toilet" improvement scheme, which provides a detached lavatory-bathroom with individual metered water supply for each family, continued.
Next Quarter's Target

A revised programme for full conversion/redevelopment of Mark I/II blocks will be formulated.
10. Adaptation of
public housing
flats for the disabled
To adapt
individual, flats
to facilitate access to, and mobility within, the flats.
The Housing Authority agreed that in future such adaptations would be undertaken at no charge to tenants.
