To design a standards and calibration
laboratory that would initially provide calibration facilities for the electronics industry
and Government
departments.
A broad outline plan for the provision of a standards and calibration service in the electrical and electronics field has been drawn up. standards and calibration laboratory is expected to be in onoration in 1993.

Drafting instructions have been issued and a draft hill is being finalise.
