7 new five year (1092- 1987) agreement was concluded at the end of "arch. PyCo endorsed it in pril. Subject to minor changes in wording and to the resolution of several minor problems, the agreement may be ratified at any time.
The current PP/TPC extiles Agreement is due to expire on 31 December 1992. first round of talks was held in Fong Kong in mid April. The F* aims to achieve cutbacks, to reduce arowth rates, to tighten up the flexibility
provisions, and to re-
organise product categories.
Patify as soon as practicable.
Megotiating instructions are being drawn up for the next round of talks, thich will begin on 1 June 1982 in Brussels. The Textiles Advisory Poard will accompany the
delegation.
