To re-formulate parking policy consistent with the proposals in the White Paper on Internal Transport Policy, and ExCo's views as expressed in 1981.
The Traffic and Transport Survey Division has completed the survey on taxi availability, which shows that taxis are readily available, and there is no significant increase in passenger waiting times.
The
TAC has generally endorsed the Administration's proposals on parking policy and given advice on how parking standards should be reviewed. policy will be considered by ExCo on 3.8.82. SLW will review parking standards on private residential developments.
Next Quarter Targets
To implement policy according to ExCo's advice.
