FOR
an Ordinance to amend the Immigration Control Ordinance (Chapter 74).
Enacted by the Legislature of Gibralter.
1. (1) This Ordinance may be cited as the Immigration Control

(Amendment) Ordirance, 1982.
(2) This Ordinance shall come into operation on the 1st day of
January 1983.
Section 2 of the Immigration Control Crdinance (hereinafter
called the principal Ordinance) is amended by omitting the
definitions "Gibraltarien by birth" and "Gibraltarian woman",
and substituting the following definition:
"'Gibraltarian' means

(a) a person who is a British citizen by virtue of registration
under section 5 of the British Nationality Act, 1981; cr
"(b) a person who is a British Deperdent Territories citizen

by virtue of a connection with Gibralter; cr
or is registered "(c) a person tho is entitle? to be registored/ad a Gibraltariml
in the register in the Register of Gibraltarians established
under the Gibraltarian Status Ordinance;
