1983 CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE UNIVERSAL POSTAL UNION (UPU) FOR BRITISH
OVERSEAS TERRITORIES AND ASSOCIATED STATES (BOTAS) AND BRUNEI
1. The table below sets our the contributions in sterling to the
UPU for those territories for whose international affairs the UK is
responsible. The first two columns of figures represent the second instalments of the 1979 and 1980 contributions (paragraph 1 of
telno 2 saving to Bridgetown of 24 December 1981).
2. These sums have been paid by the UK to the Union and must be reimbursed by 20 March 1983 repeat 20 March 1983. They should be paid in sterling either direct to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office,
or through the Crown Agents who should be instructed to ensure the
sum is credited to the FCO.
3. For Montserrat only. The 1982 contribution is still outstanding in spite of reminders and should be paid as soon as possible. (£446.84).
