I have pleasure in advising you that our Government has issued, through diplomatic channels, an invitation to the Governments of observer and member-countries to participate in the Third Congress of the Asian-Oceanic Postal Union. The Congress is to be held at the Southern Cross Hotel, Melbourne, during the period 19 to 27 November 1975. Congress is to be preceded by a meeting of the Governing Board of the Asian-Oceanic Postal Training School on the 17 and 18 November at the same venue.
To assist in your consideration of this matter, and for the convenience of intending participants from your adminis- tration, the following documents are enclosed -

Registration Form
Application for Hotel Reservations
Information concerning Hotel Accommodation
Brochure on the Southern Cross Hotel
Brochures on Melbourne.
Other items, such as baggage labels etc., will be forwarded in due course.
In the event of your acceptance of the invitation to attend the Congress it would be appreciated if the Registration Form and the Application for Hotel Reservations could be returned by registered airmail as soon as possible, please, and by no later than 1 September 1975.
