LEAVE AND TRAVELLING TIME

20.

Except in territories where the Governor's leave is laid down

by local Ordinance, Governors are under the provisions of Colonial

Regulation 5 and are regarded as earning leave at the same rate as senior officers in their territory and are subject to the same leave

regulations applicable to those officers. On the question of travelling time a Governor should, therefore, be guided by the General Orders of the territory.

21. Any travelling time on the homeward journey to the UK in excess

of that laid down in General Orders will be deducted from earned

leave.

REVIEW OF EMOLUMENTS

22.

Governor's emoluments will be reviewed at the beginning of each year, at the same time as the annual review of OSAS Supplementation carried out by ODA for each of the Dependent Territories.

PENSIONS/GRATUITIES

23.

Governors' pensions are covered by the Governors' Pensions Scheme 1979 and the Governors' Pension (Amendment) Scheme 1981.
