Boarding School Allowance
The same rate as applicable to officers serving under the OSAS scheme is payable. This is based on the Home Civil Service rate which is currently £2580 per child for the first two children. Boarding School Section of PSD is responsible for the administration of this allowance.

Mid-Tour Leave

Charges in respect of mid-tour leave passages for the Governor and his family are met by the Hong Kong Government.
9. Child Concessionary Journeys (CCJs)
Normal FCO rules apply in the case of the Governor of Hong Kong. However fares must be charged to subhead D1 (14) (a). Thomas Cook implant should be informed of the above.

The Governor comes under the provision of the Governors Pension Scheme 1979 (amended 1981). ODA is responsible for the administration of the pension scheme.
