1. Your minute of 30 July. I have asked my colleague, Mr Smedley, in the other half of the department, to reply to your question direct in connection with the Common- wealth organisations for which he is responsible.
2. This section covers some of the arrangements for the Commonwealth Finance Ministers' Meeting. I know that Hong Kong is invited to attend. ERD are the lead department in the FCO on this subject and will no doubt be able to give Hong Kong's correct status at the meeting.
