1. Your minute of 2 December refers.
2. TRED's brief for the Inspectors looks only at the Post's trade promotion role. We analyse the workload and examine staffing levels with the aim of ensuring that the work is carried out efficiently and economically. The first two items mentioned in your minute and the contents of Mr March's letter of 21 October would not fit easily into our brief and should in our view be put separately to the Inspe ctors as a brief from your Department.
