Flat 4103, 19, Homantin Hill Rd. He saw the body of the deceased and a colt revolver on the floor next to the deceased. A doctor present handed him a bullet found in the clothing of the body. After the removal of the body he found two more fired bullets, one lying in the far right corner of the room as viewed for the door and the other stuck in the drawer of a dressing table on the far let side of the room. The first appeared to have struck the wall near an air-conditioning switch before falling to the ground.

Later examination of the revolver showed it to be a Police issue colt No. RHKP 4894. The revolver was loaded with one live round and five cartridge cases of Police issue type .38 Smith and Wesson calibre revolver ammunition. The revolver was in good working order and bore traces of firing residue in five chambers. Test firing of the revolver showed it to have fired the fullet found in the revolver had been fired by the exhibit revolver.

On 21.2.80 he received a shirt pullover and two fired bullets from DEPC 6924. Each of the holes in the garment appeared to have been made with the muzzle of a weapon in contact with the garments. The back of the shirt had three exit holes while the back of the pullover had two exit holes. The two bullets were found to be .38 Smith and Wesson calibre of the same type on issue to the force. One was in fair condition and had been fired from the exhibit revolver while the other was too badly damaged for comparison.

Mr. TAM Kwok-leung, Senior Inspector of Police, Identification Division will state that as a result of a fingerprint examination carried out on revolver RKP 4894 there were insufficient characteristics for identification.

THE SUICIDE NOTE

On 26.1.80 Mr. M. Pelly obtained the suicide note from Mr. KONG Chuek-hoi and took it to the Chief Chemist at Police HQ, Mr. R. Edgely. He also handed Mr. Edgely two sheets of writing and a minute M1 in file No. HMT/CR 28/29 known to be the deceased's writing.

Mr. Edgely will state that as a result of his examination it is his opinion that the suicide note was written by the deceased.
