Appointments Officer, Metropolitan Police, London, dated

9.2.77; a signed 'declaration of no convictions' dated

17.2.77 and a handwritten, signed letter to the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis, London, dated 16.7.77, all in

the name of John Maclennan. The originals of these

documents were released to Senior Superintendent R.C.

Lidster of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force by Superintendent William Taylor, Staff Officer to the

Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, London, for my

examination and they are held to the order of the Metropolitan Police, to be returned via Mr. Lidster at such time as the Commission completes its enquiries.
