Amend the Crimes Ordinance,

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice
and consent of the Legislative Council thereof.
Short title.
1.
This Ordinance may be cited as the Crimes (Amendment)
Ordinance 1981.

Amendment of section 71. (Cap. 200.)
1.2.
(a)
Section 71(2)(of the principal Ordinance is amended
in paragraph (d) by deleting the full stop and
substituting a semicolon; and
:
(b) by inserting after paragraph (d) the following
(Cap. 177.)
"(e) an identity card, or any other document,
issued under the Registration of Persons
Ordinance.".
Amendment of section 76.
3. The principal Ordinance is amended by inserting
after section 76 the following

"Possession of implements for forgery.
76A (1) Any person who has in his
custody or possession any document, equipment
or article fit and intended for use in the
forgery of any document or other thing commits
an offence and is liable on conviction on
indictment to imprisonment for 14 years.
