It appears from the statistics that the numbers of illegals being arrested is increasing, and I understand you. expressed some concern to Patrick Williamson about this.

It would be useful if we could have an evaluation of the present situation and likely trends. This would include your estimate of the current evasion ratio and what action is being considered to counter the increase.
