Analysis of arrivals at Lowu from 16.2.81
to 22.2.81 of travellers holding travel documents issued in the People's Republic of China
Within this period 790 documents were recorded, covering 1013 travellers. The great majority were valid for return of the 148 single journey permits recorded in this period, 20 were issued in Guangzhou; 118 were issued in places in Guangdong Province ot.ier than Guangzhou; 3 in Guizhou; 5 in Hebei and 2 in Yunnan. Permits were issued for varying periods of validity (in the case of single journey permits the period refers to the time within which the permit had to be used.) Of the 790 :-

Within this period no permit issued in Fujian Province was valid for more than 1 year and 95% were for one year. No permits issued in Guangzhou were valid for one year and all the permits are valid for 6 months.
