1. Following your reply we decided to delay replying to Hong Kong tel No. 296 while other matters were cleared. We now wish to get a reply to liong Kong before Lord Carrington's visit at the end of this week.

b. deletion of the second part of the third sentence; and C. an addition to the second paragraph.
