13. (1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), the
provisions of sections 1 to 12 shall apply to each of the

than in the context of the term "citizen of the United Kingdom
and Colonies"). "British citizen" "Crown service under the
government of the United Kingdom" and "Her Majesty's
government in the United Kingdom" were references to
(a) the name of the territory as specified in the
first column of Schedule 6;

the description specified in the second column

territory; and
(a) the government of that territory,
respectively.
