The sort of statement that you have just made is exactly what we need. There are going to be people in Hong Kong who will say: Why are we letting these Australians in and why should we
have outsiders in? Why cannot a local consortium
have the same sort of deal that has been arranged
between you and RTV? These are two related
questions on which we would like to get something
on the record we did discuss with Sir Ian McLennan
some months ago the matter of additional commitment. A figure was mentioned yesterday when I asked
what sort of amount of money you thought you might have to put in additionally over and above the agreement as it stands.
