The proposed BBC development, if it took place at either of the locations under consideration, would involve the erection of two 250 kilowatt transmitters, each consisting of an aerial array supported by towers of from 65 to 100 metres in height. The location would be a total of some 300 metres in width.
It would be most helpful to the BBC in any discussions it might undertake in the future with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office to know what the attitude of the Hong Kong Government might be to a proposal to set aside one of the two sites for the purpose of. erecting a relay station.
