HKG will cover all expenses incurred by CNAA members and staff involved in attending meetings in London and Hong Kong as follows

(a) Travel in UK First class rail and overnight

subsistence at CNAA rates.

(b) Travel to HK First Class return air tickets

to be booked either by HKG or CNAA with any of the airlines flying between London and Hong Kong. In either case, HKG will take over and pay for the tickets (The point here is that HKG is able to obtain discounts from the airlines). Travel can be by British Airways, British Caledonian, or Cathay Pacific Airways. If CNAA members or staff wish to depart from the London-Hong Kong direct route, then bookings must be made through British Airways, though this rule may be subject to amendment. Such departure normally involves loss of the discount on the London-Hong Kong fare, plus the cost of any additional travel. Any such additional costs fall to be met by the individual. Stopovers on the standard route are allowed. Other routings possible are via Johannesburg (route surcharge $950); Seychelles ($350); or Tokyo (no charge).

The value of the first class discounted ticket can usually be exchanged for two discounted economy or two excursion tickets to enable a spouse, parent or child to accompany the individual. extra costs over the first class fare are met by the

individual.
