In this and related future developments in other institutions not necessarily involving the same pattern of organization, our Committee emphasises the importance of providing part-time students with full access to university facilities, including library, and of taking account in the organisation of curriculum and of teaching methods of the work experience of part-time students and of their different individual rates of learning.

The Committee considers that in the future review of post-secondary education careful attention should be paid to the identifiable needs of different groups of students outside the present student age group, and to the different ways of meeting them, taking full account both of the specific Hong Kong context and of available outside experience in this rapidly developing field.
