particular computing needs, and as proposals have come forward basically in relation to those needs we now see no necessity to separate general computing equipment from other equipment needed. Indeed there are advantages in each institution having to weigh carefully its need for computing equipment against other equip- ment needs. Accordingly we have included sums for the purchase of computing equipment in the indicated equipment grant, but have noted the sum so included for the information of the institution concerned. The total indicated equipment grant for each institution is shown in Appendix C.
