разам

Introduction

On 24th June 1980, when Members considered XCC(80)85

Proposed Revision of Fees for Students at the Universities and Polytechnic, a copy of which is at Annex A, the Council advised and the Governor ordered:

(a)

(b)

that the University and Polytechnic Grants Committee should be asked to assume certain fee levels in its calculation of grants for the triennium 1981-84 and to notify the three institutions of these assumptions;

that the assumptions should be as set out in paragraph 17 of the memorandum, save that the fees payable by students already enrolled should not be increased;

it being stressed at all times that the level of assistance under the Student Finance Scheme would be adjusted automatically to cover any increased tuition fees. And

The purpose of this memorandum is to seek Members views on the fees to be charged in 1984/85 and, subject to those views, to comply with the requirements of paragraph 1(c) above and to announce the tuition fees payable at the two universities and the polytechnic for the academic year 1984/85.
