4. The heading to Part IVB of the principal
Ordinance is amended by inserting after "ILLEGAL
IMMIGRANTS⠀ the following

"AND OTHERS".
Amendment of section 17G.
5.
Section 17G(2) of the principal Ordinance is
amended in paragraph (c)(iii) by inserting after "refugee
card the following ·
"which does not prohibit him from taking
employment".
Amendment of section 17I.
6.
Section 17I of the principal Ordinance is
amended by deleting subsection (2) and substituting the
following subsection
(2) It shall be a defence in proceedings
for an offence under this section for the person
charged to prove that the employee in respect of
whom the offence is alleged to have been committed

(a) had been absent from work continuously
from the date when section 17H last
came into operation until 72 hours
before the date of the alleged offence;
