(2) The general manager shall refuse to issue a

permit if it appears to him that

(a)

(b)

the person requiring the permit or for whom it

is required is for any reason related to or

connected with the security of the railway not

a fit person to have access to a restricted

area; or

the person requiring the permit or for whom it

is required has no valid or sufficient reason

for having access to a restricted area.

Application for permits.

7.

Application for the issue of a standard permit

under regulation 6(1)(b) shall be

(a) made by a person requiring the permit or an

employer on behalf of his employee;

(b) made to the general manager in the form

specified by him; and

(c) accompanied by

(i) the documents specified therein;

(ii) such other particulars as may be required

by the general manager; and

(iii) the prescribed fee.
