SUPPLEMENT NO. 1 TO CEC/FRA PROTOCOL AGREEMENT DATED
1981
In
reference with the Protocol
Agreement which was entered into as of
1981, between CEC TURBINE GENERATORS LIMITED and FRAMATONE,
the parties wish to express that they further agree on the following
additional provisions:-
1. Reference Article ? Add:-
c)
"Insofar as the Client may request, or both parties consider it may
be desirable to offer advisory services of independent nuclear
regulatory inspection or consultancy organizations, the parties
will use their best endeavours to obtain commitments from such
third parties as they may select, by mutual agreement, for the
provisions of such services to be included in the Proposal(s) or
offered separately for the Project.
d) Prior to submission of a joint Proposal (s) both parties shall
select, hy mutual
agreement, the most appropriate method
of
ensuring the overall coordination of the Project, either by forming
a joint organization between GEC and FRAMATONE or by contracting
with an outside firm of engineers of international standing.
2.
Reference Article Add the following paragraph at the end of the
Article:-
"Such agreement will also specify which one of the parties will take
the leading role in negotiation and execution of the Contract in order
to maximise the chances of success taking into consideration
other factors the Client's preference".
