12. The China Travel Service, through its subsidiary Hip Kee Godown (HK) Co., bought a godown site in Hung Hom for $33.8 million. The 1,550 square metre area purchased at $21,806 per square metre is designated for use only as a godown and lies adjacent to the Hunghom Railway Station.

14. Development of the Sunbeam Commercial Building in Kowloon on the old Yau Ma Tei Government Primary School site, with Bank of China.

16. Kiu Kwong Investment Corporation and Sun Co. with Hongkong Land!
and Jardine Matheson are to jointly develop a commercial and residential estate above MTR's depot at Tsun Wan. The $1 billion project is backed by the Bank of China and Nanyang Commercial Bank. Kiu Kwong and Sun Co. will hold 80 per cent equity while Hongkong Land and Jardine will have 15 and 5 per cent respectively. "Luk Yeung Sun Chuen" will have 17 tower blocks containing 4,000 flats, and will be completed in 1983.

Chung, near the container terminal, was built.

21. Yee Pang Realty, formed by Cheung Kong (Holdings) and Kiu Kwong
Investment has been awarded the right to build ten 30-storey residential blocks on the nearly 28,000 square metre podium of the new Kowloon-Canton- Railway Station, Sha Tin. The project will cost $383 million and will be completed by 1984. The complex is planned to house 13,000 people.

Kiu Kwong Investment will hold 30 per cent equity in the joint venture, with Cheung Kong maintaining the 70 per cent.
22. Sun Company's fully-owned subsidiary, John Lok and Partners, won a
$400 million contract to build the first phase of the Hong Kong and Kowloon Wharf's Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.
23. John Lok was also awarded a $107 million contract for the construction of
the superstructure of Tregunter, Hongkong Land's development in the Mid- Levels.
