Call on Prime Minister and Secretary of
State by Sir Y K Pao
The Secretary of State has agreed to a request by Sir Y K Pao for a meeting which has been arranged for 9.30 on Friday 17 July. I should be grateful if a brief could reach Private Office by 15 July.
We spoke about briefing for the call on the Prime Minister. At the request of Caroline Stephens (No 10), I have sent a copy of her letter to the Department of Trade suggesting they liaise with you over briefing for the Prime Minister.
