MR BLAKER'S PROPOSED VISIT TO THE FAR EAST

Mr Blaker said that he hoped to go to the Far East in September/October of this year. Sir M MacLehose suggested that, if other things were equal, it might be best if Mr Blaker visited Hong Kong towards the end of his tour. Before 5 or 6 October he himself would be very preoccupied with his speech for the Opening of the Legislative Council.
