1. As you will see from the attached minute from Mr Pover of PS to Mn lift, approval 13/2
has been given for me to pay a duty visit to China and for the subsistence costs involved to be met by the Office.
2. I intend to spend three days in Peking, two in Xian and two in Shanghai and should be most grateful for an advance towards the subsistence costs.
