FAMILIARISATION VISIT TO HONG KONG BY ASSISTANT HKGD
1. I joined HKGD as Assistant in June and wish to pay an initial familiarisation visit to Hong Kong. If the timing is acceptable to Hong Kong, I would propose to go for two-weeks (the normal period) from 10 24 October. Mr Clift, the Head of the Department,
agrees.

I should therefore be grateful for your approval to the visit. As you know, there is general provision for three visits per year for HKGD, to be allocated as the Head of HKGD judges best.
