I have planned to visit Hong Kong on the 5th October this year for approximately ten days to pursue the possibility of attracting investment to Companies who are interested in siteing their operations in Northern Ireland. One such Company is Interrand Limited International which has prototyped a
'Linguistic Communicator' particularly designed to facilitate the Japanese and Oriental languages.
It would be of value if an appointment, however brief, could be arranged with the High Commissioner in the interests of courtesy and also to engender interest in my visit. I have spoken to Lord Hirshfield who will also be in Hong Kong at that time for an International Conference and I hope to liaise
with him also.
Any help you could give in arranging a visit to the High Commissioner or any other relevant Government Official would be very much appreciated.
