Negotiations with China for a Maritime Agreement will begin
in near future. Talks broke down in 1977 over Hong Kong and Hong
Kong Government remains concerned that Hong Kong interests and
crews should be safeguarded. Chinese have said that it is now a
matter of 'finding the best words' and that they will keep in close
contact with Hong Kong over developments.
