Mr Lewis Davies CMG OBE
Secretary for Security since 1974.
Came to Hong Kong in 1973 from
Bahamas where he was Deputy Governor (1970-73). Began Colonial
Service career in Gold Coast (1948-56) then served in Western
Pacific High Commission, (1956–70).
Mr John Francis Greene
Senior Superintendent, serving as Divisional Superintendent, frontier,
since 1979. Joined RHKPF in 1952 and served in almost all
formations of the Force including Uniform Branch, Traffic and CID.
Sir Philip Haddon-Cave KBE CMG
Financial Secretary since 1971.
Joined Colonial Service in 1952
in East Africa. Transferred to Hong Kong in 1962. Will succeed
Sir J Cater. as Chief Secretary later this year and when he himself
will be succeeded as Financial Secretary by Mr John Bremridge a
former Chairman of the Swire Group
Hong Kong.
Mr Roy Henry MVO OBE QPM CPM
Commissioner of Police since 1979.
Served in Malaya, Sarawak and
Fiji before coming to Hong Kong in 1973 as Senior Assistant Commissione
then Deputy Commissioner.
Mr Eric Ho
Secretary for Social Services since 1977. Joined Hong Kong Government
1954 and has served in a cross-section of Government Departments.
Mr Michael Illingworth QPM CPM
Assistant Commissioner of Police District Police Commander, New
Territories since 1972. Started career as cadet with HMS Conway and
served in Merchant Navy 1945-47 before joining the Royal Hong Kong
Police Force in 1947.
